NitroX Automotive Automotive is committed to a professional, welcoming and safe environment for customers, employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors. This Code explains the behaviour we expect from everyone who interacts with our team or visits our workshop—and the standard our team is expected to uphold.
1. Respect comes first
- Treat customers, colleagues, suppliers and visitors with courtesy, patience and fairness.
- Communicate honestly and clearly. Explain work, findings, delays and limitations without misleading or pressuring anyone.
- Respect different backgrounds, identities, abilities, beliefs and perspectives.
- Do not engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, threats, violence or unwanted conduct.
- Respect personal boundaries and do not make offensive comments, unwanted advances or inappropriate jokes.
2. Safety in the workshop
- Follow staff instructions, safety signs, restricted-area markings and reasonable workshop procedures.
- Do not enter vehicle bays, work areas, stores or equipment zones unless authorised and accompanied where required.
- Do not touch tools, machinery, vehicles or components being worked on without permission.
- Do not smoke, vape, consume alcohol or use intoxicating substances in the workshop or behave in a way that creates a safety risk.
- Tell a team member immediately if you notice a hazard, spill, unsafe condition or injury.
- Children and accompanying guests must remain supervised and in areas designated for visitors.
3. Care for vehicles and property
Vehicles, keys, documents, tools, equipment and personal belongings must be handled carefully and only for legitimate workshop purposes. Customers should remove valuables and disclose known vehicle issues before handover. Team members must protect customer property, follow agreed work instructions and report accidental damage, loss or unexpected findings promptly.
4. Honest and responsible service
- Recommend work based on inspection findings and the customer's stated needs.
- Explain the scope, material risks, parts and charges before asking for authorisation.
- Do not carry out additional chargeable work without the customer's approval, except where a narrowly necessary emergency action is lawful and appropriate.
- Record customer instructions, approvals, inspection findings and job updates accurately.
- Do not promise a result, completion time, warranty or price that has not been confirmed.
- Protect customer contact details, vehicle information, photographs and service records.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers and visitors are expected to provide accurate information, follow workshop safety directions, treat staff respectfully, attend agreed appointments or notify us of changes, and raise concerns constructively. Customers must not threaten staff, interfere with work, enter restricted areas, damage property or attempt to obtain access to another customer's information or vehicle.
6. Staff and representative responsibilities
NitroX Automotive team members and representatives must act professionally, use appropriate protective equipment, follow safe working practices, respect customer authorisations, maintain accurate records, protect confidential information and raise safety, quality or conduct concerns promptly. No employee or representative should retaliate against someone who raises a concern in good faith.
7. Photography, recording and privacy
Do not photograph, record or publish images of other customers, their vehicles, personal information or non-public workshop areas without permission. NitroX Automotive will seek appropriate permission before using identifiable customer or vehicle images for promotional purposes, unless another lawful basis applies.
8. Raising a concern
If you experience or witness unsafe, disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, tell a workshop manager or contact us at enquiries@nitroxautomotive.com. Share what happened, when it happened and any relevant booking or job reference. We will review concerns fairly, limit information to those who need to handle the matter and take reasonable steps to address substantiated issues.
9. Responding to breaches
Depending on the seriousness and circumstances, a breach may result in a warning, a request to stop the behaviour, removal from a restricted area, refusal of access, suspension of account access, or other proportionate action. Serious matters may be referred to the appropriate authorities. Any action will be subject to applicable law and any existing customer or employment rights.
10. Our commitment
We aim to apply this Code consistently and improve it as our workshop grows. The Code does not replace applicable law, a service agreement, employment terms or statutory rights. Where there is a conflict, applicable law takes priority.
11. Contact
